“AppLab” participants have become winners of “Golden Byte 2018” Regional Final
Bakcell, the First Mobile Operator and Leading Mobile Internet Provider of Azerbaijan, is proud to announce that two of its “AppLab” program participants have become the bestat the“Golden Byte 2018” Regional Final. By results of evaluation,two participants of the “AppLab” program have occupied 1st and 2nd places of the local championship, under the “Startup” nomination. The winner project is “Run2Help” - a mobile app that counts the amount of steps a user makes every day and then converts it into money, which can be donated to any participating fund. The team of “Run2Help” project will take part in the international final of “Golden Byte 2018”, which will take place on 19-20 of May 2018 in Kiyev, Ukraine. Second place holder is the “BuilDay” project – an app which allows organizing events in specified locations and invite people to join them.

New appointments in Azerbaijan’s Labor Ministry
Anar Aliyev and Vusal Nasirli have been appointed new advisers to the minister of labor and social protection of the population of Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of Azerbaijan said in a message posted on its website May 11.
